In one of the largest student success surveys conducted in recent history, Gallup and Strada Education Network found that 86% of currently enrolled students said getting a job was a critical factor in their decision to enroll in college, and that students who have both a learning outcome and a career outcome in mind are 25% more likely to persist to graduation.
Today, the stakes are higher than ever before and career outcomes are as important, if not more, to students than academic outcomes. Yet, only a small fraction of colleges and universities have responded by truly making career pathways and outcomes a campus-wide effort.
Change is long overdue, and the longer we wait to prioritize career development in post-secondary education, the more difficult it will become to recruit and retain the next generation of students.
That's why we created Career Everywhere.
Career Everywhere is a one-day event focused on integrating career resources, data and information into every phase of the student journey.
Join us on September 26th, at the Headquarters of Strada Education in Indianapolis, to learn from some of the most progressive leaders in higher education, as they share strategies for integrating career into admissions, academic advising, classrooms, student life, alumni relations, and continuing education, to positively impact enrollment, persistence and career readiness for all students.
We can't wait to hear from this amazing collection of speakers, who are flipping the traditional model of student success on its head to help every student achieve meaningful career outcomes.
